Annual Meeting - Wednesday, October 29!
December 8
The Membership and Social Concerns Committee (MSCC) - besides Board of Director meetings, Annual Meetings and BoD Elections - is another link to the Harvest Community and your Board of Directors. We’ve got a few great event series planned for this spring and summer that we’re excited about and want to make sure you know about.
DINNER SERIES
Over the spring, we have hosted two member dinners, giving members an opportunity to get to know other members a bit, give us feedback about their involvement with our co-op and what they are interested in, and sample some of the catering department’s yummy cooking.
So far members have been invited at random, but if you would like to be invited to an upcoming dinner, send Chris Durkin an e-mail
FARM VISITS
Building on the fun we had volunteering at Field of Greens Farm in Lincoln last summer and some of the feedback we’ve gotten from member dinners, we’re headed back to the farms! We are planning several farm volunteering trips later in the summer and fall when the farm can use our help. We’re also planning on going to a few farm festivals this summer:
Watch for signs in the store about the festivals, or let Chris know you want to come.
JOIN THE COMMITTEE!
Do these programs sound fun, or do you have ideas for other ways to get involved with the Harvest Community?
We always welcome new members at our meetings—the 4th Thursday of each month at 6 PM in the Community Room in the Cambridge store. We hope to see you soon!
